Kerouac Weekender Bag
Kerouac is a luxury weekender style bag in either full leather or cowhide with leather base and straps. Packing your Kerouac is made easy with a long sturdy zip, and hooks that undo at the sides. There is a small zipped pocket on the outside for quick access to your travel essentials and an extra strap for carrying across your body. This strap is best used with the sides unclipped.
When full, Kerouac measures approximately 22 cm tall, 46 cm wide and 26 cm deep at the base. This size fits in the overhead lockers on even the smaller planes in the Air New Zealand fleet, with the dimensions adding up to 94 cm (Air New Zealand requires hand luggage to be under 118 cm).
Each Bomod creation is individually handcrafted in our studio, with meticulous attention to detail. While they are made to a pattern, no two are exactly alike. The combination of natural differences between individual leather hides, and each creation being hand-cut and individually sewn, speak to the charm of the Bomod creations.
Our premium leather hides are personally selected for their beautiful quality and stunning colours, before being transformed into these gorgeous totes and accessories. There are marks and "blemishes" in the hides that add to their individual charm.

Because these are handmade in small batches, we can custom-make to your preference. Prefer silver rivets? We might just be able to do that.
